Sleeve & Shelf

Sleeve & Shelf is a self-hosted web app that keeps a vinyl collection in order across real cabinets and shelves. It knows where every record stands, lets you browse your shelves from your phone while you stand in front of them, links the collection to Discogs, and proposes a sorted layout — by musical kinship, by the era an artist started, and by how much room each shelf has — that you can adjust by hand.

🎧 What it does

  • Browse and search in shelf order. Flip through a shelf on screen the way you would in front of the cabinet, or search for an artist or album and see where it stands.
  • Link the collection to Discogs. Sync your Discogs collection, fetch styles, original release years, covers and artist pictures.
  • Propose a sorted layout. Clusters of related artists, era bands, artist families, and the width of every shelf decide where each album goes. Nothing moves until you accept.
  • Adjust by hand. Drag albums between shelves, bind artists to a cabinet with a location rule, keep a sample on display in a top-loader — and go back to an earlier version whenever you like.
